Requirements for Domain Transfer
- Check the latest changes date
- Domain expiration
- Domain lock must be disabled
To transfer a domain, at least 60 days must have passed since registration, renewal, WHOIS information update, or transfer to the current registrar.
At least 10 days must remain before the domain expiration date for transfer.
To unlock the domain, you need to submit a request to your current registrar. Disabling the domain lock is mandatory for transfer.
Important notes about domain transfer
DNS changes are not available during the transfer process.
IR domains do not require a transfer code and only the IRNIC handle is needed.
Before transfer, the .ir domain must be fully registered.
The domain must not be in the process of ownership transfer.
Steps to Transfer Your Domain to Hostiran
The process of transferring a domain and changing ownership of international domains usually takes between 2 to 7 business days, and your website will remain fully operational during this period.

After reviewing the requirements, you must disable the domain lock and request the transfer code from the current registrar. For .ir domains, log in to your IRNIC account and change the technical and financial contacts to Hostiran ID no297-irnic.
According to transfer regulations, your domain will be renewed for one additional year. After the transfer process is completed, if you wish to renew for a longer period, please submit your request to the domain sales department via ticket due to different TLD policies.

After reviewing and confirming the domain information, the domain transfer order will be completed upon payment of the invoice.
If all the above steps are completed correctly, you will receive a domain transfer confirmation email from the domain registrar.
